I am out my home state of Michigan on temporary business, (not military). I am in Virginia, and purchased a vehicle today. I need to be able to drive it here and back to Michigan, but my busy schedule will not allow me until Christmas!

Thank you!|||When you buy a car, you have only 10 days to transfer the title, registration and plates. If you can't do that in Michigan within that period you should do the DMV work now in Virginia. And in two months re register in Michigan. You'll probably lose on the registration fees, but not on the taxes. You'll fill out a form stating that you've already paid the taxes in VA.
