Which details to give? Money transfer?

I'm expecting some money from someone else, so I thought I'll just get it by bank transfer. I just opened it last week and it's my first account.





Could you please tell me which details should I give?





I'm using HSBC. There are two long numbers in the card, one is the 16-digit one and the other is 8-digit one - which one should I give to them? There's also sort code on the left side|||You will need to give your friend/acquaintance the following details:


1. your account number


2. your sort code


3. your bank's SWIFT code and


4. your bank branch name
