Transfer email contacts to another computer?

I want to transfer my email contacts details from my main computer to my laptop. There must be a simpler way than slavishly looking at each entry on the main and typing details into the laptop?|||depends on your email client(s)- do a search for export address book and import address book for the client(s) you use.
