So..I got my new iphone and i like it..but sometimes it doesnt work like the wifi connection!!! Itunes..Well I bought a gift card and i redeemed it..when will it expire? Since ITunes its not working right now on my iphone....I downloaded 1 song by Mariah Carey * Bye Bye * and how do i transfer it? So what im really saying is How do i transfer the music to my iphone? Whats sync?? How can where can i buy it...? * sync * Would be helpful thanks :-)|||You will need to be near a WiFi source for the WiFi to work. If you see attempt to connect to a wifi source and then attempt to connect to iTunes but it fails, then you are generally on a "paid for use" WiFi. The way to verify this is to tap Safari and instead of going to your home page you will be prompted to enter your credit card number for access and charges will apply. I've made it a habit to no longer frequent places that offer "pay wifi".
If you downloaded a song to your iTunes, by clicking purchase, you will have to plug in your iPhone, wait a few moments for your computer to recognize it, then cancel the photo popup ( if one appears ). Notice in iTunes you will now have an icon of your iPhone ( left column ). Tap that then sync. This will "match" your iPhone to your iTunes.
If you download songs via wifi to your iPhone, the next time you sync, your iPhone will add the new song to iTunes.
Sync is the little button in the bottom right of iTunes. No need to purchase, iTunes is free.
