If you are an australian qantas pilot can you transfer to an international airline please read for details?

Say you are a Qantas Pilot in Australia and you want to work for an International Airline like Singapore Airlines can you or do they have different license's you need and you have to start from scratch could you tell me the whole proscess and i know about the Citizenship stuff..|||Pilots move from country to country all the time. The licence is essentially the same, even though it's issued by a different authority in each country (CASA in Australia, CAA in Singapore). You must also have a rating for the aircraft type.

In the new airline, you would need to demonstrate your skills, so you might spend a little more time in the co-pilot's seat before moving over to the left.|||professions abroad are really an exciting prospect, but you have to be really careful of the legal implications, if you don't effect your research correctly, there can be regrettable conseqences! The site in the box below has plenty of guidance on professions abroad, my pal unearthed it, now he is a barman in Tasmania!
