How do I transfer video from my Sony PC-109 miniDV to my hard drive (see details)?

The software that came with it -- Picture Package Maker -- only seems to let me transfer it to the Automatic Video Producer program, which edits its it by itself. I want to use Windows Movie Maker.|||most of the minidv can download the video to your computer through firewire connection and that can be through windows movie maker or anyother software|||Use either Firewire or USB streaming and open it through WMM.
