File transfer question (see details)?

Just curious here. Im transferring large files from a laptop to my desktop using a router. I connected them with a lan wire because its faster. Now the question is: Will it go any faster if i turn on wife/ w-lan|||Hi,

There wont be no difference on the Speed if you are switching off the WIFI. It is far related with your concern. You are doing the right way and the best way to transfer the files.

Regards,

JA|||Nope. If it's using the LAN then it will only use the LAN for your transfer. It won't try to do anything intelligent like "share" the WiFi connection.|||Doubtful, in fact, if you are using a router through an RJ 45 cable, then you turn on you wifi button, it'll switch and cancel the connection between the router and the computer. If it doesn't, then it won't be any faster because your using a wire, not wifi to transfer the files.
